Current Crush: Tulip Tables

I've always had a soft spot for mid century modern and scandinavian design, so it's no wonder why I love tulip tables... They're such a timeless design that can be styled in so many different ways. In my opinion they're the perfect table for anyone moving into their first place or for someone living in a smaller space! Here are a few different ways that you can style a tulip table:

Last but certainly not least, here are my favourite budget friendly tulip tables. Whether you're going for a more feminine vibe or a mid century modern look, you can't go wrong with this style of table.

Green With Envy

I know I should have probably saved this post for St. Patricks Day but I couldn't wait! Even though muted greens are all the rage right now I still have a major soft spot for hunter and emerald greens. They're such a bold statement and I applaud anyone who is able to decorate with them... And by decorate with them, I mean successfully decorate with them.. i've definitely seen some terrible green rooms in my time. Here are a few of my favourite green rooms that I would consider a success:

I love the eclectic mix within this room. Also gold and green is a fantastic colour combo.

This is one of my favourite greens. It's more muted but still makes a statement.

Black and white might just be my favourite accents colours with green (sorry gold).

...again... black, white and green is so chic.

Let's just take a minute to admire the beauty of this tile.

Last but not least, is this darling boy's room. It's masculine but also preppy and fun. What instantly sold me was the HBC blanket and plaid pillow.

Are you wanting to add a little green to your life but are too scared to commit to green walls? Try one of these great statement pieces:
